How can I get in touch?

We do not currenlty offer contact to our customer service team via phone. We do, however, offer various points of contact to our customers via email.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

Superior Wines & Spirits are an online shop only. We do have a physical premises, but unfortunately they are not open to the public.

Can I order without an account?

You certainly can. Just click the ‘checkout as guest’ option when completing an order.

Can I order by calling you?

No. We do not currently accept phone orders or phone calls as a point of contact for queries, requests or complaints.

Do you accept cash on delivery?

We do not offer a cash-on-delivery payment option. A courier deliver our shipments on our behalf and are not authorised to collect cash from customers.

Which payment options do you accept?

We accept all VISA debit cards plus VISA Credit, Mastercard and American Express.

Is there a minimum value order?

There is not a minimum order value.

What is your returns and refunds policy?

If you are wanting to return your order, please get in touch via [email protected]. When your order arrives at our depot after being collected, your refund will be issued. Please note that the return period is 7 days prior to delivery. After this, returns and refunds will not be accepted.

If your refund has been requested due to a damaged item, then we will refund your item and schedule a collection. If you wish for a replacement bottle instead of a refund, we will send out a replacement item to fulfil the original order. Please note, if a refund/replacement has been requested due to damage, pictures of the damaged item will have to be sent to [email protected].

Where do you ship to?

We deliver to anywhere in the United Kingdom but do not currently ship overseas.

Please note that mainland addresses fall into the standard shipping costs we offer, whereas non-mainland addresses may be charged a shipping premium.

This may also delay the shipping time and it may take longer than our usual next-day standard shipping time.

How much does delivery cost?

How long will my delivery take?

Orders placed before 1:00pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched on the same day, for delivery the following day. All orders placed after 1:00pm on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will be processed and collected from us on Monday and delivered to you on Tuesday.

All orders placed on a UK Bank Holiday that fall on a Monday, will be delivered on the Tuesday. If the Bank Holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, such as Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years day, the item will be shipped the next working day and will arrive the day after that.

We will post our Christmas delivery information at the start of December.

What if I missed the delivery?

Unfortunately, these queries are between you and the courier. The courier will text and email you with a delivery timeslot on the delivery day. You should be able to change delivery times and defer deliveries through the link they text to you.

Will my delivery be made on a Saturday?

If you have placed an order after 1pm on Thursday, or before 1pm on Friday, your order will be delivered on Saturday.

What if I require a next day or timed delivery?

Our shipments are only on a next day delivery basis. If your order is placed before 1pm, it will be delivered the following day. If placed after 1pm, it will be shipped the following day and delivered the day after that.

We do not offer timed delivery but our couriers will text you with a 2 hour delivery window on the day your delivery is due.

What do I do if my order has been damaged in transit?

If your order arrives damaged, you can either scan the QR code on the flyer that will be in your delivery box or you can see our contact section in our website footer. There you will find the relevant email address for your query.

Please note, we do not offer a point of contact via phone but if you would prefer a call to discuss your query, please send an email to the relevant email address, stating your phone number and that you want to request a call back.

I have received my order, but some items are missing. What should I do?

If your order has arrived but some items are missing – please send us an email.

If for example you have ordered 24 bottles of Champagne, or say 9 different bottles of Gin, there will multiple boxes being delivered. If you have received 18 bottles but not 24 or 6 instead of 9, it is probably the case that your other box is yet to be delivered and there may have been an issue at the courier’s depot. Either way, please get in touch and we can look in to any shipping query you have, including tracking your parcels to see their delivery status.

I have received the wrong product, what should I do?

If you receive the wrong product, please get in touch via email and we will arrange the collection of the wrong item as well as the fulfilment of the correct item.

I don't like the taste of the product I ordered, can I return it?

Once an item has been opened it cannot be returned. Any returns that have been opened will not be refunded.

My bottle already comes in a box, how will it be shipped?

Usually, we will remove the bottle from the box and place into our protective moulds. These moulds that surround the bottle will then be placed in a shipping box and shipped to your address. The shipping box will be a box suitable for 2 bottles, the other space will be used for the original bottle box. We know this seems complicated and unnecessary but it ensures maximum protection for your bottle whilst it is in transit as well as allowing us to get your original box to you as well.

How do my bottles get packed?

Each bottle is placed within a cardboard mold, which is then placed inside a double-wall cardboard box. If your bottle comes with a presentation box, the bottle will still be shipped within the molds, but the presentation box will be sent within the double-wall box as well as the bottle itself.

All of our packaging is approved by our courier and is also used by M&S, Ocado and a variety of other online retailers that ship liquid and glass.

Can I purchase bottles for my business?

You certainly can. If you wish to buy a range of bottles for your business, but we only stock some of them, please get in touch via [email protected] and we can get the other products in to stock for you.

If you are buying products for your business, and require a VAT Invoice, please get in touch via email and we can send one over very quickly.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

We don’t offer gift vouchers currently, but we are currently sourcing producers of gift cards for the future!

Can I add a gift message to my order?

We do not currently offer a gift message service, but we are looking in to it for the future!

How are your gift sets packaged?

Our gift sets are hand-wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside the double-wall boxes. The gift sets are not able to placed inside the molds but we will do our best to keep them protected for when they are in transit.

Can you advise on which Wine or Spirit I should buy?

If you are unsure on what to buy and are looking for something new to try, you can filter all of our products by flavour, brand, strength, age, country and bottle size. If you are still struggling to find something you like, please get in touch and we can recommend a product that we think may suit your taste.

I like a particular product, but you do not stock it. Can you get it?

We have an extremely good relationship with a multitude of suppliers and have a very good chance of getting whatever it is you require. Send an email to [email protected] with your request, including the product details, and we will do our absolute best to get the product for you.
